The wines in store are stocked by red, white, rose and sparkling and then into specific country. I'll certainly pass this onto our customer services for stores to look at.

In the mean time, I have checked our website and we dont have any dry white wines at 14%. However, we have a few at 13.5% - the Invivo Sauvignon Blanc which is coming in at £9 per bottle, £108 for a 12 bottle case or Casillero del Diablo Reserva Privada Sauvignon Blanc £7.50 per bottle, £45 for a case of 6.

What's the reason for wanting a wine that's exactly 14% alcohol?

Are you looking for something specifically 14% or just a really hefty white? If it's the latter then any of the Aussie Chardonnays would probably fit the bill.

Yes, go for anything from a hot country!

Start looking for white Riojas - a well known UK chain sells one at 13.5%. I'm not an expert but fairly knowledgable. And as someone has already suggested - Aussie oaked stuff.

Personally I would give white Rioja a try.

Check out the July edition of Tesco wine magazine, page 14. There is a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc called Stanley Estates which is 14% alcohol!
