Wedding Wines

Hello
I'm getting married next April 2013. Does anyone have any recommendations for 1 white wine, 1 red wine and a sparkling wine for arrivals?

This is my menu:

Classic Savoury Vol au Vent, Diced Chicken & Mushrooms in Béchamel Sauce
OR
Miniature Fish Cakes of Assorted Atlantic Catch, with a Thai Chilli Sauce
**********
Homemade Cream of Vegetable Soup
**********
Roast Prime Irish Beef, Served with Horseradish Sauce
OR
Grilled Fillet of Atlantic Salmon, in a Lobster Cream Sauce

Croquette & Creamed Potatoes
Bouquet of Vegetables
**********
Dessert Medley
(Strawberry Romanoff in a Chocolate Cup, Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake & Vanilla Ice-Cream in a Wafer Basket)

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi tmooney,

Your wedding menu sounds fabulous!

For sparkling I would suggest a good quality Cava. Something like Codorniu or Freixenet are excellent.

For the red wine I would go with Shiraz, Malbec or a Rioja. The Sister's Run Shiraz is currently on the website at half price, £6.50 per bottle, £39 for the case.

In regards to white, I would go for Tesco Finest Picpoul de Pinet priced at £5.70 per bottle, £34.20 a case. This will work wonderfully with the salmon.

If you need any more information or advice then please give me a call on 0845 026 9998.

Thanks,

Fiona
