Promenade Côtes du Rhône Villages

What a lovely bottle of wine & bought at such a great price recently. Wish I had bought more than 1 case, I doubt it will last vert long.

My local Tesco store have still got some of these (not available online now?) so I've bought a bottle and will try it out soon.

Also managed to get some other wine at the store which definitely isn't available online now - thanks to Matthew Jukes' recommendation in the Daily Mail last Saturday - the Tesco Macon-Villages Blanc @ £4-99 - I took all of the last three remaining bottles!

Typical - just checked the Tesco website - the Macon Villages is available again - it wasn't yesterday!

Hi Sian

Just tried the Promenade Cotes du Rhone Villages - very fresh and fruity - think red cherries and a hint of strawberry - incredibly smooth and a lingering soft red fruit taste - a small glass (or two) went very well with my butcher's home-made steak pie for lunch.
