I love viognier and gewürztraminer does anyone have recommendations for similar wines to go with spicy and creamy foods? Thanks.

You are better off sticking with white or rose rather than red with spice, as tannin and spice will have a bit of a fight. Muscat is another one that can work well with gentle spice. For creamy dishes, a gently oaked or ripe Chardonnay is a good option, from Australia or Chile for example. Hope this helps!
Riesling for Spicy and i agree with louise a rich Chardonnay for creamy dishes.
Have you tried a Vouvray from the Loire Valley? Les Coteaux Tufiers is a good one to start: apricot, honey, pear and orange blossom. Refreshing and very flavourful!
Just opened a Tesco Vouvray with lunch, I do like Chenin Blanc, most of the one's I've had have been South African but this is a real find, thanks guys!deborahhume you're right it certainly is flavoursome, lovely aroma's of honey, peaches and stewed apples, tastewise it's rich and intense but very refreshing and easy to drink with a great finish. A real bargain at around £5.
If you like Viognier you might like Inycon Sicilia Limited Edition Grillo. It is a bit of an odd wine - many people on this site did not quite like it (as much as me). I bought a lot of it.I would admit its not one I'd drink every day but if you have not tried it, it would be worth a try.But it has to be well chilled.RegardsIan
