Jacktone Ranch wines

Some months ago I ordered some Jacktone Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon from Tesco offered at £5.00 per bottle. I cannot recommend this wine enough - it is smooth and has a most satisfying palate whether drunk on its own or with food. I have recommended this wine to friends and I have myself purchased several dozen bottles of this wine fron Tesco.
Although its price has now been increased to £5.50 per bottle it is still excellent value and I hope Tesco continue to purchase supplies of this wine from Jacktone \ranch.

That's interesting - a couple of weeks ago I had 6 btls of Jackstone Ranch Shiraz Reserve delivered and have to say it lasts very well even after the bottle is opened - put the screwcap back on straight away of course.

I did get it at half price on the website though so quite happy.

I also bought Jacktone Ranch but mine was Zinfandel Reserve. It was surprisingly good.

I agree; the Jacktone Ranch range of reds are all quite decent - but I suspect they are for drinking within a year or 2 (i.e. I doubt they have the potential to improve further through cellaring).
