Love Sauvignon blanc. Cat's pee under a gooseberry bush! Not being rude - but a good one does have hints of both. I believe M&S used to sell one called this. Summed it up perfectly as far as I am concerned - but then, I like cats and gooseberries.

Long Country wines are very good, their reds and whites; and you can't beat SB :-)

Aimetu, I agree, in my recent case review there was a Long Country bottle of Merlot that was pretty good, I will be very tempted to sample some other Long Country wines. Not sure if the Sauvignon Blanc is sold singly as the Merlot, might be another for the wine fair.

Hi Rosie,
You are right there was a label Cats Pee ( I thought it was Oddbins ) Oz Clarke named a particular SB this on the Beeb Good Food prog many years ago. We had the good fortune of a chance meeting and getting rather "merry" with Oz at the Good Food show in B'ham a few years ago.
Brancott standard SB or the more expensive Reserve- discuss ?
