Father’s Day is just around the corner! So we’ve rounded up the Dad’s of our Wine Team to share their wine wish list for this Sunday!

Graham Nash

You can’t go wrong with a gold medal winning wine on Father’s Day, and the dark chocolate and rich fruit flavours of the ‘Waipara Pinot Noir’ is top of my list for red wines this Sunday!

If your Dad’s more of a crisp, dry white wine fan, then the Tesco Finest Sancerre will be a definite hit with it’s intense and refreshing aromas of citrus fruits and redcurrants! Check out our wine guide on crisp dry whites for helpful tips. 

Nick Juby:

Top of my Father’s Day wine wish list is the Kiwi Class Mixed Case. I went to New Zealand on a family holiday last Christmas, so this case will bring back great memories from the trip and I will get some fantastic wines. Plus was lucky enough to visit cloudy bay but that’s another story!

Stuart Anderton:

As it’s a special day, I have chosen a special wine: Valpolicella Classico Superiore Verjago. I tried it at our 2011 Wine Fairs, such a delicious red!

Dirk Kind:

I’d be delighted with any of the wines by Neederburg as they are fantastic wines. If I had to pick one, it would be the hand-picked hand-crafted Neederburg Private Bin R181 Merlot.
