There may be showers ahead, but while there’s music and vino (and nibbles and friends), let’s face our British summer and say cheers!

Yes it looks like it’s going to be another mixed weather weekend but don’t let this dampen your spirits! Stock up on your favourite wine, food and invite your nearest and dearest over for when the inevitable British shower rains down upon us!

And if you’re anything like us you like to save a couple of hours each weekend for catching up on the weekly wine news and features with your feet up. This week we’ve found a true wine gem for those who love finding out about the more detailed facets of wine in a fun and digestible manner. May we introduce to you this weeks Tesco Wines favourite blog… Regular Wino!

At the helm of this wine blog is James who, in his own words, doesn’t ‘pretend to know much about wine, I just drink a lot of it’ – this is in fact very humble of him because we think his blog is really insightful as well as inspiring. And at the end of the day, who doesn’t like hearing what a ‘regular wino’ has to say about their wine ventures?

We love how he writes about new and interesting ways to learn about wine that everyone can participate in – we recommend reading his ‘aboard the winetubemap’ post this weekend for a fun way to sample your way through wines you may not have tried before!

James also profiles other interesting wine bloggers is his amusingly titled feature “Wino Of The Week” and has a backlog of interviews with the likes of veteran wine blogger Andrew Barrow from Spittoon.Biz and Sarah Belizaire-Butler from Eats Drinks and Sleeps blog.
